What Is Voicepad?

Coldwell Banker Real Estate Now offers a very convenient service called Voicepad which makes it simple for you to obtain more information about "any" property listed for sale that is included in the Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service.

Voicepad is a special telephone number displayed on the "For Sale" sign and in other advertising media. After calling the special number, you will be prompted to enter either enter the address number of the home, or a special code. Next, an audio presentation will begin telling you details about the property. If you need more details, you can be transferred to the listing agent of the property.

If the "For Sale" sign does not have the Voicepad number displayed on it, call (731) 240-2000. This number works for any property listed in the MLS. Simply call the number and enter the street number.

MORTGAGE RATES

The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 5.09 percent with an average 0.7 point for the week ending January 7, 2010, down from last week when it averaged 5.14 percent. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 5.01 percent.

The 15-year FRM this week averaged 4.50 percent with an average 0.7 point, down from last week when it averaged 4.54 percent. A year ago at this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 4.62 percent.
